During this mid-year update, Children's Hospital Association's public affairs team provides an overview of our policy priorities and the current political environment. The session also highlights actions to increase the visibility of children’s hospitals and advance public policies with Congress and the administration to improve care for children.
Children’s Hospital Association is the national voice of more than 200 children’s hospitals, advancing child health through innovation in the quality, cost, and delivery of care.
The budget includes significant cuts to Medicaid and will detrimentally impact children across the nation.
If enacted, these cuts would threaten health care access for millions of children.
The letter, which highlights children’s hospitals’ most urgent FY26 funding priorities, shares CHA’s FY26 Appropriations Request to the Committee on Appropriations.
