Children's Hospital Association Welcomes Torey Mack, M.D., as Chief Quality and Solutions Officer

WASHINGTON, DC — The Children's Hospital Association (CHA) announces the addition of Torey Mack, M.D., as chief quality and solutions officer. Mack oversees the strategic integration of CHA's quality and safety, analytics and improvement areas.

"We are delighted to have Torey join the CHA leadership team," said Amy Wimpey Knight, CHA's president. "We look forward to the experiences and ideas Torey will bring to our organization and in partnership with the broader community of children's hospitals and health systems."

Mack, a pediatrician and population and public health executive, was the deputy associate administrator for the Bureau of Health Workforce in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) where she managed a portfolio of over 40 national health care programs. Prior to her role at HRSA, Mack served as bureau chief of Family Health for the D.C. Department of Health and a practicing neonatologist with a focus on improvement in Houston, Texas.
