Children's hospitals are committed to educating families and health care professionals with complete and reliable information about vaccines. In step with this long-standing commitment, Children's Hospital Association (CHA) is working to elevate the trusted voices and efforts of children's hospitals and health systems in their communities, in partnership with others caring for kids, for COVID-19 vaccinations for children six months and up.

Our aims

  • Ensure children and families have access to evidence-based resources and safe, age-appropriate vaccination sites in their communities.
  • Create awareness of children's hospitals and health systems' vaccine plans in coordination with current and ongoing federal, state and local vaccination efforts to provide vaccines to eligible children.

CHA applauds the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) latest recommendation of vaccines for children under 5 years of age.

Additional information

  • View talking points, videos, and other educational and outreach resources.
  • COVID-19 Community Corps: The Corps, launched in April 2021, has nearly 17,000 members, including individuals and organizations big and small, in communities all around the country to help the public make informed decisions about their health and COVID-19.
