Join the Children’s Hospital Association and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for an overview of their SHIFT (Supporting and Healing Individuals from Trauma) initiative. This hospital violence intervention program (HVIP) helps children and their families work through the aftermath of gunshots, stabbings, and assaults.

Presenters will discuss:

  • How a multidisciplinary team identifies needs and connects children and families with wraparound services
  • Early data demonstrating program impact
  • How they partnered with the community to launch the program
