Strengthen Kids' Mental Health Now Toolkit

Use this toolkit to host events to discuss the Strengthen Kids' Mental Health Now Act with members of Congress.

Children’s hospitals can use this toolkit to host in-district roundtable events to discuss the Strengthen Kid’s Mental Health Now Act with their members of Congress. These events can help highlight a member’s leadership/co-sponsorship or as a way of encouraging the member to sign on and co-sponsor. 

H.R. 7236, the Strengthen Kids’ Mental Health Now Act, puts kids first. Purposefully designed to address children’s unique needs, this bill includes reforms and investments that will bolster the pediatric mental health workforce and ensure the availability of a full continuum of care for kids.

To help build awareness and leverage support for the bill, this toolkit includes a list of resources available for download to stand up tailored events with your member of Congress at your hospitals. We encourage children’s hospitals to host these events to help increase support for the bill and awareness in your communities.
