In consultation with Director, Advocacy and Outreach, the Specialist develops and implements advocacy communications that support CHA federal affairs goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include: management of the Speak Now for Kids (website and associated social media properties); creation of tools to increase member hospital engagement in Speak Now for Kids and other grassroots advocacy activities; administration of CHA’s legislative action center (accessed through Speak Now for Kids); program support of CHA lobby days; management of legislative advocacy content on CHA’s main website; and completion of special projects in support of CHA goals.
