These steps can help ensure emails from the Children’s Hospital Association arrive in your inbox.
Whitelist or allowlist CHA email domains
Your email provider or your IT department may filter emails and send them to spam or quarantine. One of the most effective ways to prevent this is to whitelist trusted email domains.
Whitelisting tells your email provider that our messages are safe and should be delivered to your inbox.
Contact your IT department to request these domains be added to your organization’s whitelist or allowlist:
- CHA bulk communications: @comms.childrenshospitals.org
- Community discussion emails: @connectedcommunity.org
Add CHA senders to your safe senders list
Adding CHA senders to your safe senders or contacts list can help your email provider recognize the sender as trusted. This helps ensure future messages are delivered to your inbox rather than your spam or junk folder.
To do this, follow these instructions for your email provider:
Microsoft Outlook
- Open an email from the CHA sender.
- Right‑click the sender’s name and select “Add to Outlook Contacts.”
- Add any additional information and select “Save & Close.”
Apple Mail
- Open an email from the CHA sender.
- Select “Message” and choose “Add Sender to Address Book,” or right‑click the sender’s name and select “Add to Address Book.”
- Add any additional information and select “Save.”
