Intern, Public Policy Communications, #I915

Location: Washington, DC


CHA seeks a full-time summer intern in public policy communications. The communications position reports to the manager of public policy communications who is part of the External Relations team housed in Washington, D.C. External Relations works closely with CHA’s Public Policy team to address issues that affect the ability of children’s hospitals to fulfill their mission of service to children. The intern position supports the execution of strategic communications about these policy issues to such key audiences as members of Congress, member hospitals, media, advocates and more. Work includes activities related to CHA’s online advocacy network — Speak Now for Kids — and CHA’s Speak Now for Kids Family Advocacy Day.
