Promote clinical excellence
All courses are developed in collaboration with industry and subject matter experts from children’s hospitals and the Children’s Hospital Association. Content is updated regularly to ensure the best available evidence is guiding clinician practice.
With the foundational knowledge gained through our courseware, your learners will come to workshops or simulation activities prepared for a higher level of learning; asking excellent questions and ready to apply critical thinking to patient scenarios. We understand that your learners come to you with a wide variety of pediatric knowledge and experience, and our courses are created to fit this diversity.
The amount of knowledge necessary for new or transitioning clinicians to perform their roles can be daunting. Educators are tasked with helping clinicians develop expertise across a broad spectrum of diagnoses and complex conditions.
Undergraduate education does not adequately prepare clinicians for the complexity of pediatric patients and the lack of clinical experience or exposure to the neonatal/pediatric patient population only adds to this complication.
Pediatric Learning Solutions releases your educators from researching and creating content, giving them time at the bedside guiding new clinicians in application of evidence-based principles.
Standardizing education across multiple physical sites is key to delivering seamless, safe, quality care for pediatric patients throughout a system.
Varying patient population and acuity levels in addition to limited resources add to the challenge of providing uniform education. Providing access to online pediatric courses can help develop staff competencies and confidence when they have limited hands-on experience with actual patients and disease processes.
Prepare nurses for additional certifications in the pediatric industry. Nurses can refresh or expand their knowledge, test their grasp of a particular topic through knowledge checks, and prioritize their studies based on course assessment scores. PLS courses can help your nurses prepare for the following certification exams:
