Presenter Agreements

Please consider the items below prior to submitting a proposal.

If proposal is accepted, all presenters are required to register for the conference and pay the applicable presenter registration fee. Presenters are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements and for conference related expenses.

Quality and Safety Conference - Nonmember presenters may attend the entire conference.
Annual Leadership Conference - Nonmember presenters may attend only the session they are presenting.

Nonmember presenters must be disclosed during the call for proposals process.

The recommended number of presenters for a standard concurrent session and poster presentation is two. The call for proposals application allows for two presenters per proposal. Presenter adjustments may be made after the call for proposals review process.

Presenters must be available to deliver their presentations any day during the conference, during posted session hours.

Poster presentations are available to members only. Accepted poster presenters must display and present their posters during official poster display and presentation hours.

CHA reserves the right to edit, publish and duplicate any information provided in this call for proposals as well as any subsequent information such as handouts and presentation materials, without restrictions.

All presenters agree to provide CHA with electronic copies of their presentation prior to the designated deadline.

CHA reserves the right to audio and video record or photograph live presentations, including educational sessions and poster presentations at the conference, without restrictions.

The Children's Hospital Association is pleased to offer Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) hours for the Quality and Safety in Children’s Health Conference and Annual Leadership Conference. All presenters authors must comply with requirements necessary to meet American Nurses Credentialing Center's criteria to award CNEs. Failure to comply may forfeit eligibility for CNE hours. Children's Hospital Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

All proposal presenters must disclose any significant financial interest or other relationships with manufacturers of any commercial product(s) or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in an educational session or poster presentation.  The intent of the disclosure is to provide the attendee with information which they can use to make their own judgment of a session or poster presentation.  This information will not prevent you from presenting.

Not all Association programs use a formal call for proposals process, we are always looking for great session ideas and dynamic presenters. These proposals will be reviewed for use at the conference; and may be shared with Association staff for possible use in other educational programs.
