Please consider the items below prior to submitting a proposal.
If proposal is accepted, all presenters are required to register for the conference and pay the applicable presenter registration fee. Presenters are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements and for conference related expenses. Additionally, you are required to be available to present either live or virtually (should the need arise).
Quality and Safety Conference - Nonmember presenters may attend the entire conference.
Annual Leadership Conference - Nonmember presenters may attend only the session they are presenting.
Non-member presenters must be disclosed during the call for proposals process.
The recommended number of presenters for a standard concurrent session and poster presentation is two. The call for proposals application allows for two presenters per proposal. Presenter adjustments may be made after the call for proposals review process.
Presenters must be available to deliver their presentations any day during the conference, during posted session hours.
Only members may present posters. Accepted poster presenters must display and present their posters during official poster display and presentation hours.
CHA reserves the right to edit, publish and duplicate any information provided in this call for proposal as well any subsequent information such as handouts and presentation materials without restrictions.
All presenters agree to provide CHA with electronic copies of their presentation prior to the designated deadline.
CHA reserves the right to photograph and/or make audio or video recordings of live presentations including conference educational sessions and poster presentations without restriction.
Continuing Education (CE) Hours – If your proposal is accepted, you must agree to submit any additional information requested to comply with requirements necessary for CE hours. All presenters must complete a Conflict of Interest form. Failure to complete the form by the deadline may forfeit your eligibility for CE hours. The form will be sent via email to all presenters.
All proposal presenters must disclose any significant financial interest or other relationship with manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in an educational session or poster presentation. The intent of the disclosure is to provide the audience/attendee with relevant details to inform decision making. This information will not prevent you from presenting.
Not all association programs use a formal call for proposals process. These proposals will be reviewed for use at the 2020 Annual Leadership Conference and may be shared with association staff for use in other educational programs to feature significant findings and dynamic presenters.
