Pearls and Pitfalls in the Recognition and Treatment of Pediatric Sepsis

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the 2018 Sepsis Webinar Series, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss and identify potential barriers clinicians may encounter in their role of sepsis improvement work.
  • Describe specific sepsis interventions piloted in multiple care settings throughout the organization.
  • Adapt shared tools/protocols to improve sepsis outcomes at their respective institutions.

Continuing Nursing Education

Children’s Hospital Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation and is authorized to award up to 1.5 contact hours of pre-approved CNE credit for this presentation.

A link to the online Verification of Attendance and CNE Evaluation form will be emailed to all participants. To receive your ANCC CNE certificate, participants must be individually registered prior to the activity and complete the online form at the conclusion of the activity. CNE certificates will be emailed to all participants. This educational activity has been approved for 1.5 CNE contact hours.
