Keeping Your Data Safer With Multi-Factor Authentication

Keeping Your Data Safer With Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication ensures only you can access your CHA account.

Our member hospitals and health systems trust us with sensitive health care data, and we are committed to keeping it secure. To ensure data security, you will need to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) when accessing Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) systems and data programs.

MFA serves as an extra layer of security by verifying your identity when you sign in. It helps ensure only you can access your account. We’ve provided several ways to set up MFA. You may use one or a combination of methods to access your CHA account, depending on your needs and workflow. You will set up MFA on the Okta User Dashboard, which you will access using your CHA sign-in credentials.

MFA options

  • OKTA Verify
  • Google (or Microsoft) Authenticator
  • Email authentication
  • Security key or biometric authenticator
  • SMS authentication

Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up the MFA of your choice. These instructions are also available during the Okta MFA setup process.

If you experience difficulties, please contact the CHA Help Desk.
