Milliman provides technical actuarial support to each hospital to aid in designing a payment model. The actuary reports include expected reimbursement and expenses, trending for future savings targets, the sensitivity of financial result-to-cost estimates, and sensitivity toward random fluctuations in utilization and large claim amounts.
