The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) released its annual Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rule for fiscal year (FY) 2023. We submitted comments urging CMS to consider the implications of the rule for children's hospitals related to proposed hospital reporting requirements, the maternity care quality hospital designation, changes to graduate medical education policy and increasing patients' access to their electronic health information.
