In 2024, Children's Hospital Association (CHA) continued to grow its affinity group for children’s hospital leaders in community health and community benefit. The group’s participants represent 39 children’s hospitals and hold roles in strategy, program development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting within their institutions.

- Six virtual Community Health Conversations and two in-person two-day meetings covered topics such as mental and behavioral health, violence prevention, school health, mobile health, food security, community benefit, team structure and staffing, and more.
- Affinity Group network solidifies ad-hoc professional relationships.
- In addition to participant-fostered connections, CHA facilitated targeted pairings between affinity group hospitals and opportunities for in-depth collaboration on key topics.
- Peer exchange via discussion list and on-demand library provide key resources when they are needed.
- A document library includes Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) and Implementation Strategy Reports, along with discussion notes and recorded presentations.
