In 2023, Children's Hospital Association (CHA) will continue to offer its affinity group for children’s hospital leaders in community health and community benefit. The group’s participants represent strategy, program development, implementation, evaluation and reporting roles within their institution.
2022 Value
- Timely presentations deliver peer and industry expertise. Nine community health conversations and two in-person two-day meetings covered topics such as mental and behavioral health, school health, measures, food insecurity, community benefit and quality improvement.
- Affinity group network solidifies ad-hoc professional relationships. In addition to participant-fostered connections, CHA facilitated targeted pairings between affinity group hospitals and offered profile data for benchmarking and understanding.
- Peer exchange via discussion list and on demand library provide key resources when they are needed. A document library includes Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) and implementation strategy reports, and discussion notes and recorded presentations.
