COVID-19 relief legislation appropriated $178 billion to distribute to hospitals and health care providers supporting the nation's coronavirus pandemic response efforts. Using information from the Government Accountability Office on the federal government's COVID-19 response, CDC and Health Resources and Services Administration databases and HHS, we have developed a summary on the current state of the Provider Relief Fund, including allocated and disbursed funds. The amount of allocated and disbursed funds in the summary are reflective of publicly available information and may not include recent disbursements. The summary will be updated as additional distributions are announced or more information about disbursements becomes publicly available.
