50 CHA-Related Presentations Featured at Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting

The 2021 Pediatric Academic Societies virtual meeting will include a presentation on Children Hospital Association’s tool to measure low-value care. “Measuring Low-Value Care Delivery In U.S. Children’s Hospitals,” has been named an APA Presidential Plenary Session. By measuring low-value care delivery in children’s hospitals, this tool aims to improve the quality of care through reduced overtreatment, unnecessary care and more.

Additionally, the PAS meeting will feature over 50 sessions using data and information from CHA programs, such as the Improving Patient Sepsis Outcomes collaborative. Thirty-three of these presentations, as listed below, feature CHA staff. The presentations, a mix of live sessions and on-demand presentations, will cover relevant topics such as: the clinical and operational impact of COVID-19, behavioral health, sepsis, obesity, low value care, and additional clinical conditions.
