Open Groups

CHA offers several networking and discussion groups open to employees of member hospitals with no fee. These groups foster information and experience-sharing, and peer networking. 

Members may join these groups from their Groups and Products tab in the Member Center. They are listed under Other Groups.

Children's Hospitals Within Systems
The Children’s Hospitals Within Hospitals group serves as a place for executives from Children’s Hospital Association members within academic hospitals or systems to interact with one another.

Educators
Share information and ask your fellow educators for feedback, get a discussion going on a specific learning initiatives, and exchange best practices with your peers.

ENFit Conversion
All CHA member hospitals are invited to connect with peers and discuss implementation of new industry-mandated ENFit connectors through a new discussion group offered in conjunction with the new Supply Chain Services (SCS) Value Analysis program.

Facility Design
Share information and ask your fellow educators for feedback, get a discussion going on a specific learning initiatives, and exchange best practices with your peers.

Population Health
Hospitals and health systems are evolving to navigate the changing health care landscape. The notion of an institution that is focused only on admitting, treating and discharging sick patients is fading. This online discussion board allows you to post questions, learn from your peers and share your hospital's work in creating health for children and their families. 

Public Relations, Marketing and Communications
Share ideas and resources with PR, communications and marketing professionals, and receive information from CHA on developing news stories and media requests for news sources.

Quality and Patient Safety
Quality and patient safety professionals in association member organizations network and pose questions about issues such as quality improvement, quality measurement, patient safety and accreditation.

Specialty Hospitals
Communicate with your specialty hospital colleagues about your challenges and successes, and share information on operational issues, trends and strategies of interest. This group is focused on longer-term sub-acute care and/or rehabilitation issues for children.
