Speak Now for Kids provides advocates for children's health with opportunities to learn about issues impacting children's health care, to share their personal stories of why children's health care is important to them (just like the Doderer family, seen in the video above), to interact with others who share their interests in kids' health, and to take action by writing their members of Congress on legislative issues.
Partner hospitals and supporting organizations are encouraged to utilize the Speak Now for Kids toolkit below, which includes customizable outreach materials.
The #MyComplexNumber social media campaign can help raise public awareness about health care for children with complex medical conditions.
Access the event materials page for a full list of resources for the June 21 event.
More than 30 million children – 40 percent of all U.S. kids – rely on Medicaid for their health coverage and access to care. Tell your U.S. House representative to keep Medicaid strong for kids!
