Children's Hospitals Ask Congress to Prioritize Children's Health in Lame-duck

Congress returned from Thanksgiving break to face an intense post-election, lame-duck session. In addition to passing legislation that will fund the federal government's continued operation and avoid a government shutdown, Congress is considering whether to pass another COVID-19 relief package and delay or eliminate cuts to Medicaid funding.

To protect children's care in this crisis environment, pediatric providers are calling on Congress to provide relief funding while simultaneously avoiding policy changes that risk undermining the pediatric health care system.
