Community Health Improvement Week is an annual opportunity to celebrate and honor those working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
Sponsored by AHA Community Health Improvement (ACHI), CHI Week highlights and elevates the commitment and work of community and population health leaders and their local partners across the country.
This year's themes include:
- Reflect on health disparities illuminated by the pandemic and consider further actions needed to improve the health and well-being of all people.
- Renew commitment to community health improvement, including working with cross-sector partners to better serve our communities.
- Rise Together to strengthen our communities through collaborative and creative work and investment in our neighborhoods and one another.
Children's hospitals are encouraged to get involved and think of ways to highlight the work being done by the hospital out in community. This is a great opportunity to build awareness, both among hospital staff and out in your community. Use the hashtag #CHIWeek in your social media posts to amplify your work among others participating.
