Challenging Sepsis: Nurses Take the Lead

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss and identify potential barriers clinicians may encounter as part of the healthcare team striving for sepsis improvement.
  • Describe sepsis interventions that healthcare teams have piloted in multiple care settings throughout the organization.
  • Adapt shared tools/protocols to aid the healthcare team of their respective organizations improve sepsis outcomes.

Instructions for Completion:

Criteria for successful completion of this educational activity includes confirmation of session(s) attendance in its entirety and completion of program evaluation. A link to the online Verification of Attendance and Evaluation Form will be emailed to participants at the conclusion of the program. To receive a certificate of completion, individuals must be registered prior to the activity and complete the online form following the activity. Certificates will be emailed to participants.
