Sepsis Recognition: Educating High-Risk Patient Populations

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the 2018 Sepsis Webinar Series, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss and identify potential barriers clinicians may encounter in their role of sepsis improvement work.
  • Describe specific sepsis interventions piloted in multiple care settings throughout the organization.
  • Adapt shared tools/protocols to improve sepsis outcomes at their respective institutions.

Continuing Nursing Education

Children's Hospital Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation and is authorized to award up to 1.0 contact hours of pre-approved CNE credit for each presentation.

In accordance with CE requirements, Children's Hospital Association has a conflict of interest policy that requires faculty and presenters to disclose relevant financial relations related to the content of their presentation and materials. Any potential conflicts are resolved so that presentations are evidence-based and scientifically balanced. No conflict of interest exists for any presenter/author or planning committee member of this educational activity.

Criteria for successful completion include session attendance in its entirety and confirmation of attendance. To receive your ANCC CNE certificate, please complete the webcast evaluation form that will be emailed after the event, to confirm your attendance for each session. CNE certificates will be emailed to all participants.
