Connect with us

Use childrenshospitals.org to:

Create a log in for member-only materials and encourage your staff to create accounts.
Go to My Member Center and sign up for content alerts, newsletters and discussion groups.
Search topics like behavioral health, value-based care, children with medical complexity, and more.
Find peers by area of expertise, title and hospital type in the children’s hospital member directory.

Learn

Use discussion groups (e.g. behavioral health, quality) to ask questions, make connections and find novel approaches.
Register for webinars to learn about important pediatric issues and how colleagues are addressing challenges.
Join the Monday public policy call to understand legislation affecting children’s health and health care.
Attend the Annual Leadership Conference and other events throughout the year.

Improve

Use safety alerts and risk assessments to proactively identify patient harm risks.
Identify gaps in sepsis detection and treatment, and use resources to improve patient outcomes.
Review quality and accountability measures, and share how your hospital would use them in value-based arrangements.
Talk with your health services researchers about participating as subject matter experts in CHA’s research network.

Benchmark

Understand big trends across children’s hospitals and how your hospital compares with others via the Annual Benchmark Report. Complete the survey each spring for your custom report.
Use the comparative data sets you participate in to see patient care, financial and operational gaps, and improvement opportunities. Additional analytic products are available to support your planning efforts.
